1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him…”
The Word of God clearly tells me that I cannot love (welcome, entertain, be fond of, or love dearly) the world or anything in the world because if I do then the love of the Father is not in me… While I was meditating on this, I began to see that even if I go around saying “I love Jesus” it is a lie if I love “ANYTHING” in the world and this was a bitter pill to swallow.
