Christians and fun seem to go hand in hand today. For the greater part of the past two thousand years, Christians and suffering or death went hand-in-hand. What changed? Christ or His followers?
I must admit I am more aware than ever why the masses of people who claim to follow Christ seem so confused about the basics of Christianity such as cross-bearing, idolatry, refraining from pagan practices, obeying GOD always, and refusing to disobey Him if it “makes sense to them” or the “end justifies the means”.
Have you wondered why persecution appears to erupt every few generations? Western believers, who have seen less persecution in recent years, say they love the LORD with their lips, but they assimilate the pagans with their lives. What will it take for them to begin emulating Jesus Christ instead of pagans?

On Judgment day “there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” The posting you linked to whitewashes Pagan rituals that are dressed up in Christian clothing.
The Christmas tree, Yule log, and other rituals have no place in Christian homes. The Myth of Santa Clause? Don’t get me started…
Corporate “Christianity” coddles and defends these falsehoods; they’ve been perpetrated generation upon generation for over 500 years.
What of Christ’s sacrifice? His death and resurrection is remembered at church, but Pagan rituals are also performed; coloring of eggs and egg hunts, the “Easter” [Ishtar?] bunny, which celebrate the Pagan fertility goddess Ishtar.
The post uses several biblical references attempting to pinpoint His birth date.
I was reminded back in ’71 when Hal Lindsay likewise used biblical reference points trying to establish the date of His return [commonly called Rapture] but was proven wrong; only the Father knows (Matt 24:36)
In Dec 2013, I referenced YOUR Mystery of Christmas post, so why reference this mock?
