Why Christians Do Not Attend Church During the Christmas Season

Pastors, do you have members that leave your church from the time you set up the Christmas tree until the time you take it down? Are you offending them with your Christian liberty? If the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, has no warrant for your celebration of Christmas then where is your spiritual authority coming from? Can you really use Romans 14 and Galatians passages to uphold your Christian liberty? This video, though long, will answer these questions and more. They use loads of scriptures and expound on them using Gill and others. Watch it if you truly do want to please our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Or, at least watch it so you can understand why you have members that leave during your Christmas season.

  1. Church Anyone?

FTA: The compromise and apostasy within the visible church, whatever denominational form it takes, is pervasive and without remedy. It has been my repeated experience that the leadership is not committed to the truth of the Scriptures regardless of their statements of faith or the assurances coming from the pulpit. If they were, they would warn against being unequally yoked with the worldly evangelical church that leads its attenders down the broad path of destruction. They would preach exclusively from the King James Bible and reject the defiled modern versions. They would so preach and teach that the Holy Spirit would be adding to their numbers those who are being saved. The church has one purpose, and one purpose only, to proclaim the gospel and disciple believers. Our response to our culture should always be what it has always been, to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather to expose them (Ephesians 5:11).
