Through The Blaze’s coverage, you may be familiar with Youcef Nadarkhani, an Iranian Christian pastor sentenced to death for refusing to renounce his faith and convert back to Islam. Now, Congressional lawmakers are standing in solidarity with the beleaguered faith keeper.

Rep. Joseph Pitts (R-PA) has sponsored a resolution denouncing Iran for its ruling of apostasy against Nadarkhani and calling for his immediate release

“Iran has become more isolated because of their drive for nuclear weapons, and the fundamentalist government has stepped up persecution of religious minorities to deflect criticism,” Pitts told FoxNews. “The persecuted are their own citizens whose only crime is practicing their faith.” More Here

  1. God be with him.

  2. Pastor Yousef, the Qur’an, and the Enemies of Freedom

Pastor Yousef waits to see what will befall him, all because he had the temerity to become a Christian. It is 2012 and this situation is unbelievable. However, since 9/11, Islam has grown in its desire to overtake the world with the final Caliphate (Islamic rule worldwide). Islam has become emboldened and those radicals within Islam fully believe that Allah is on their side. They believe as they continue the assault on free societies, they will be blessed.

I don’t believe Allah and the God of the Judeo-Christian Bible are the same. In fact, I believe Allah is satanically-inspired. If that is the case, then the two cannot be the same.

    1. Unfortunately, Islam has provided the world with no way to win. If we give them what they want, they will continue to push against us for even more. If we don’t give them what they want, they will take that as a sign to become even more violent.

It appears as though the point of no return has been passed. Radical Muslims are emboldened and see no reason to back down. They are not afraid to die for their cause (oh, and neither am I) and in fact, look forward to their foray through death’s door into a world they believe will reward them with 70 virgins.
