Blessings for Obedience to God:
Deuteronomy 28 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
7 “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
9 “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. 10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Note on the video: Although we should do our best to be prepared for an economic collapse and coming crisis’, for many, like myself, we cannot build up stock and store. Don’t lose heart, God will supply His children’s needs as He sees fit for His glory. We must be willing to endure hardship as He wills it for us. This is for His Kingdom and glory, not ours. Our rewards will be from His hand and are eternal. If martial law were to be declared by any U.S. president now that Obama has updated the NDAA the way he saw fit our stock and store may very well be taken out from under us. Trust in the Lord God Almighty to lead you and supply your every need.

I can imagine a day in the life of Elijah, the prophet in the Bible: “How are you doing today, Elijah?” (God said.) “So, so. Just eating these crumbs here that your ravens left me by this brook.” “You know those morsels are from the table of King Ahab, don’t you?” (God continued.) “I thought I noticed some of his dainties in them. Thank you, by the way for sustaining me in this drought.” “You’re welcome, by the way, the brook’s going to run out soon, so be prepared to move where I send you next.” “Yes, Lord. I hear you!”
Is your brook about to run out, like Elijah’s? Trust and listen to God. He has a plan for the Elijahs of today. He also has provisions enough for at least fifty times that amount!
Thank you Sherry for reminding us and focusing us on the battles that are most biblically strategic.
Great comment, Dave! You are welcome and, may I say, thank you for the edification! These are very evil days and we are going to have to be prayerful and alert to God’s voice. God bless you~

FTA: I firmly believe that what we have been seeing and what has been created is the system by which the Antichrist will eventually rule over the entire world. Regardless of how one might argue that this system began, by the time Antichrist gets hold of it, it will have become thoroughly corrupted and fully pliable in his hands. It seems clear to me that we are moving toward that time, when God has allowed Satan’s Beast (the system) to be fully prepared for the arrival of the Antichrist. I really do not believe we can stop it, quite honestly. I really do not.
There are things we can and should do though. Aside from prayer which should completely undergird everything we do, we can try to educate people about what is happening in society. Jesus says that times will become so difficult for society that their hearts will simply give out (cf. Luke 21:26). The fear that is going to be created as a result of this full-blown “beast” system will cause men to simply die because of it.

FTA: It is one thing to understand what is going on in the world. It is another to realize what we can and cannot accomplish once we see the truth behind the lies. It tends to leave us with frustration, anxiety, fear, and even anger because of how well Satan’s web of deceit is working. We want others to see the truth in large numbers so that this deceit can be overcome.
However, what God wants us to do is recognize that He and He alone is in charge. For our part, we need to learn to focus on praising Him for who He is and for what He accomplishes in this world. I seriously doubt that we can ever praise Him enough. There are so many things that concern me and I get to a point where it seems overwhelming. It is usually at that point that I am reminded that with all of my strength and mental acuity (which granted, is not that great), I am absolutely no match for Satan’s schemes. Because of this, it is extremely urgent that I learn to praise God for all things.
